If you thought making lemonade was simple, you clearly never met my dad.For him, a perfect glass of lemonade wasn’t just juice and water —it was a delicate operation. One that required exactly 3.5 ice cubes. Not 3. Not 4. Exactly 3.5.

He had theories:"Three cubes is too warm. Four cubes waters it down. But three and a half cubes? That’s the golden zone."I once asked him how to get half an ice cube.Without blinking, he pulled out a butter knife and started cutting an ice cube in half like a chef. 😂

Mom used to roll her eyes.I’d sit there laughing, but deep inside, I admired the passion. To Dad, perfection was in the details. And life was about finding joy in small, ridiculous quests.

Today when I pour a drink,I smile and whisper, “Three and a half, Dad… just how you liked it.”Cheers to the man who turned lemonade into an adventure. 🥂
