It was my 8th birthday, and Dad was in charge of bringing the cake.He proudly entered the house holding a gigantic chocolate cake... and tripped on the doorstep. The cake flew out of his hands in slow motion, flipped twice in the air, and landed — miraculously — right back on the box.
For a moment, the whole family stood frozen. Then Dad lifted the box proudly and said, "See? I told you — delivery without damage!"
We couldn’t stop laughing. The frosting was a little smudged, but Dad served it anyway with a wink: "Extra love added!"
Honestly, it was the best birthday ever, all thanks to Dad’s hilarious save.
