The DIY Project That Turned Into a Full-Scale Catastrophe

You ever look at a cute DIY video and think, “I could totally do that”?Yeah... famous last words. 😂

So I saw this adorable shelf-making tutorial — just some wood, glue, and a little confidence, right? Easy peasy.First step: Measure the wood.Problem: I lost the measuring tape halfway through and "eyeballed it." (Mistake #1.) 👀

Then came the cutting... except I forgot which side was "up" and which was "down."Cue the shelf pieces looking like sad, uneven puzzle pieces. 😭

Glue time! I thought I was nailing it — until everything slid apart like a slow-motion disaster.There was glue everywhere — on the table, my clothes, my HAIR. 😩At one point, the dog stepped in it and tracked sticky paw prints all across the house. 🐾💀

After 4 hours, 2 minor meltdowns, and one emergency run to Home Depot...I finally had a "shelf" that looked like it survived an earthquake.And honestly? I’m proud of her. She’s unique. She’s chaotic. She’s me. 😂
