Some bonds in life go beyond words—the kind that wrap around our hearts quietly and stay there forever. Today, we say goodbye to one such bond. Our beloved Kiah passed away last night at 10:15 PM, leaving behind fourteen years of pure love, joy, and loyalty.

Just a day earlier, she had been her usual happy self—bright-eyed and full of life. We noticed her breathing wasn’t quite right, but assumed it was just the summer heat. We couldn’t have imagined that she was silently battling congestive heart failure. Despite the medication and care from the vet, her condition worsened rapidly, and we were forced to make the most heartbreaking decision—to let her go peacefully and free her from pain.

Fourteen years... it feels like a blink. No amount of time could ever be enough with a soul as special as hers. Kiah wasn’t just a pet—she was family, a companion, a quiet comfort in hard times and a playful spirit in the good ones.

She had a way of knowing when we needed her most—a gentle nuzzle, a warm presence, a silent understanding. Her absence now feels like a weight we carry in our chests, heavy and hollow at the same time.

But even through the grief, we hold on to gratitude. Grateful for every moment she spent with us, every tail wag, every cuddle, every little joy she brought into our lives.

Kiah, you may be gone from our sight, but you will never be gone from our hearts. Run free, sweet girl. You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure. Sleep peacefully—you’ll always be with us. ❤️
